I can't be the only female that took up golf because of their partner/spouse/significant other.  I have tried other hobbies, this one stuck for me because I am outside, I can wear cute clothes, I can drink while I play, I am not making a mess of my kitchen table (unlike scrapbooking or making pottery both of which I used to do).  The game itself is fun! I'm terrible, seriously don't look to me for tips or advice. I know the basics. I just want to encourage more women to try it, to get outside and to do something for yourself.
